Rabjohns win Starring role with Theatre
Midlands-based accountancy and tax firm Rabjohns LLP has secured a major auditing contract with one of the region's most prestigious theatres.
Rabjohns won the tender to act as auditors for the renowned Malvern Theatres, taking over from KPMG, which has held the contract for several years.
The Worcester-based company beat off competition from a range of Top Ten national firms and Big Four spin offs to win the tender for the work, which is due to start next month.
Malvern Theatres has built up a reputation as one of the most prominent and successful theatres in the UK, showcasing new productions before they go on to the West End, and welcoming major names in the industry.
Ian Smith, chairman of Rabjohns, said the win was another jewel in the crown for the Worcester-based company, which already acts for top county names - the Worcester Warriors, Worcestershire County Cricket Club, Morgan Motor Company and Eastnor Castle.
"In these tough times, gaining the best value is more essential than ever and businesses are increasingly recognising the combination of the expertise and cost-effectiveness of regional firms," he explained.
"This success has increased our portfolio of some of the county's most well-known and respected sports, leisure and tourism clients."
Nic Lloyd, chief executive of Malvern Theatres, said: "We were impressed with Rabjohns' levels of responsiveness and expertise and are looking forward to working with them."
