Ian Smith walks the Great Atlantic Coastal Challenge
Rabjohns' Chairman, Ian Smith, is all set to embark on the second leg of his long distance walking trilogy.
Ian Smith, the Rabjohns Chairman, will tackle the second leg of his three long distance walking exploits from Friday 11th to Monday 14th September when he will be walking for four days along the South West Coastal Path from Hartland Point to Boscastle. The walking is graded as severe or strenuous each day, as path climbs 10,200 feet in this section, more than twice the height of Ben Nevis!
A group of around 10 volunteers are taking on the Great Atlantic Coastal Challenge to raise funds for St. Richard's Hospice in Worcester. If you are able to support Ian's efforts, please visit http://www.justgiving.com/iansmithcoastalwalk/
In June, Ian was part of the Rabjohns team that walked the Worcestershire Way (31 miles) in a day. This walk, and the South West Coastal walk are just warm ups for his big challenge next year when he will take on Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk to raise funds for Ataxia UK.
