Rabjohns staff take ‘Pride in Worcester’
Staff from Worcester-based business and tax advice firm Rabjohns LLP have rolled up their sleeves to give some time back to the local community as part of the ‘Pride In Worcester’ campaign.
Staff based at the College Yard firm have committed to supporting the campaign, running until 4th September, by clearing any rubbish or other waste. Staff have developed a rota system which means that every morning, lunchtime and evening College Yard will be cleared of rubbish.
Andy Wood, Director at Rabjohns is also a Director of the Worcester Business Improvement District (BID) project and said, "College Yard is an extremely important area of Worcester as it is immediately adjacent to Worcester Cathedral. We are privileged to work in such a beautiful area and are determined to keep it clean and tidy so that residents of and visitors to Worcester can enjoy its unique splendour."
Ian Smith, Managing Partner at Rabjohns said, "We wanted to demonstrate that volunteering for just ten minutes a day can have a dramatic impact on your own community".
"At Rabjohns we believe we have responsibilities beyond those which we owe to our team and clients. We are part of a wider community and want to play our part in putting something back into the area in which we earn our living."
