Wholesale and Retail
Most accountants and business advisers will count shops amongst their client base; and Bishop Fleming Rabjohns is no exception.
We think the range of shopkeepers for whom we act though, is a bit special and unusual.
Bishop Fleming Rabjohns helped the owners of the UK's largest on-line sports retailer grow its business, then sell most of it to a Venture Capital buyer (and then do it again four years later). The vendors are still amongst our top clients and the company continues to use us for payroll and specialist taxation work.
We've assisted one of the West Midlands biggest fruit and vegetable businesses to carefully downsize and remain profitable. Our clients sell furniture (some of which was manufactured by another client!) and soft furnishings; they import and sell every item of fishing equipment you could think of under the sun (or under and over the water); another is a highly successful out of town outlet selling famous branded labels.
Bishop Fleming Rabjohns sports and leisure sector experience means that it would be surprising if we didn't also count sports retailers amongst our clients - and we do. One also serves up many of the tennis balls used by amateur clubs across Worcestershire - and that's a load of balls.
As well as accountancy, audit and taxation services, Bishop Fleming Rabjohns can provide a number of other services for the Wholesale and Retail sector. These include IT, bookkeeping and payroll services to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business as well as corporate finance services and Business Navigator for more strategic long term business planning. As members of Kreston International, Bishop Fleming Rabjohns has access to quality associated firms covering the whole of the UK and throughout all of the major trading nations globally should overseas assistance or expertise be required.
